This wide angle lens by Walimex Pro was developed for videography. The f-stop can be adjusted steplessly from 3.1 to 22 and the focus is adjusted softly and runs smoothly. That way a tracking of the focus when filming is possible. The aperture ring and the focus ring come with a tooth ring and are therefore optimized for use with follow focus systems. For better readability, the distance and f-stop scale are displayed sideways. With the compact 14 mm wide angle lens by Walimex Pro you can create unique shots. The wide angle reduces the image scale as compared to tele lenses at the same distance from the motif, so that the rendering of a larger area is possible. The Walimex Pro lens is well-suited for the entire spectrum of wide angle videography, especially landscape videography and shots in interior rooms. The pronounced depth perception of wide angle shots provides space for creative photography. With a minimum focusing distance of only 28 cm, the lens, which is focused manually, is particularly well-suited for sharp, high-contrast filming from a short distance. Due to the excellent lens speed of 1:3.1, optimal shooting is possible in poor lighting conditions as well.
